fullhouse cafe @ petaling jaya

hi all,

this is the second of the malaysian posts! we went to sunway lagoon during the morning. i highly recommend that you visit sunway lagoon if you go over to kl, it’s closer than genting highlands, and it has quite a wide variety of rides, even a man-made beach and sea! after the trip we went shopping at sunway pyramid located just beside sunway lagoon, and had dinner at this place called fullhouse lifestyle store and cafe, which from now onwards shall be called fullhouse cafe just because i am lazy!

the interior of the store was very pretty. see the pretty tables and chairs! there was mini store selling apparel too, but we didn’t go there.

likewise, the menu is cute! it has lots of pretty pics so you know what you’re ordering!

fh3

we started off our order with some drinks. c ordered the jasmine green tea (rm 6.90) while i ordered watermelon juice (rm 5.90). she seemed to like it, mine was excellent and sweet! a good thirst quencher in such a hot country.

for starters we ordered onion ring (rm 8.90) and korean chicken wing (rm 8.90). the onion ring was quite standard, crunchy and delicious. the korean chicken wing, on the other hand, was not as good. there was no photo of it in the menu, so we were pretty surprised that it wasn’t golden and crunchy. it was covered in some sweet and sticky sauce and was not crunchy at all. thumbs down for the korean chicken wing.

on to the mains! c ordered the rome salad with beef bacon (rm 17.90). she didn’t have much complaints about it, so it must be clean as c picks out every soil/bug/rotten leaf in her salad. my salmon fillet (rm 34.90) was alright, but was nothing to shout about.

both of us were pretty full then, so we ordered one dessert to share: green tea tiramisu (rm 15.90). green tea is c’s favourite flavour for almost everything: yoghurt, ice cream, soup, etc so she had nothing but praises for it!

fh10fullhouse cafe has a nice theme and environment, but could be so much more. food and service were alright and the prices are quite expensive by malaysian standards. getting to sunway pyramid can be difficult, we took the rapidkl bus service from central station. first timers and those who do not gamble should just get a cab.
